This is a special design in which the outsole of the boots wraps upwards on the toe area providing strong and durable shield to keep your toe safe on the rocky and rough surfaces. The lining is very soft and comfortable and it is made from the textile. This lining provides essential breathability to keep your feet dry, odorless and fresh. The interior of these magnificent boots feature KEEN.DRY™ membrane. This membrane also provides breathability and it is waterproof. It prevents the water from penetrating the boots to ensure that the interior stays dry and it also allows breathability to keep the interior environment as fresh as possible. The footbed has specially be designed with the EVA which has been metatomically treated. This EVA is shocks absorbing and it minimizes the stress on your legs and feet. The footbed also has the magnificent arch support which keeps your feet in maximum comfort. This footbed is designed to maintain the foot in its natural shape. The heel has the S3 support structure which absorbs the shocks to reduce the heel strike and it also prevents the possibility of ankle twist on the rough surfaces. The shank is made from the ESS which offers torsion stability. The outsole is made from the rubber which is non-marking and durable. This outsole has the 4 millimeters deep lugs which are multi-directional and offer exclusive traction on the slippery and uneven surfaces. You can find this style in this color: Black.

These boots fit me true to size. They are still new so they haven't yet stretched out (which I've heard happens with Keen). I have thin calves and they look cute with skirts or skinny jeans. You can even cram in some straight legs. The laces are cute and the coffee/espresso or black version has pure blackish tounge coming out from the inside. Very cute, will it get dirty? Foot doesn't look like a muppet like it does in the classic fit. Only downfall, if you drive a standard car it can get jammed under the clutch pedal. You have to make a few adjustments to get the control you want from a standard transmission.
Divine comfort and warmth - These are the greatest winter shoes ever created. They are quick to get on and off. Comfort and ease are a huge must for me when chasing after 2 kids all day long. They are too hot to wear to the mall; I don't know how other people do it. I can tuck my jeans inside them, I find them roomy. They are more structured looking than the originals. They haven't become slouchy looking, but they do seem a bit more bulky looking across the top of the foot than the classics. I love them so much; I don't even take them off in the house. I prefer wearing these over my slippers anytime.
