The interior has the KEEN.DRY™ membrane which is designed to lock the water out of the boots to maintain dry wearing. This membrane also allows breathability to maintain fresh feet. The footbed is made from the EVA which is metatomically treated. This footbed is very comfortable and it maximizes the comfort level by absorbing shocks. The arch support is excellent it enhances the comfort level and keeps your feet stress free on all types of surfaces. The heel has the S3 support structure which reduces the heel strike and enhances the ride comfort. This heel also prevents the possibility of ankle twist and deliver you safe and smooth ride. The shank is made from the ESS which offers torsion stability. The outsole has been made from the top quality rubber which is non-marking, durable and flexible. Mostly worth the money - I've never spent so much money on one item for myself! I wear a size 7 in all shoes / boots. The Keen Pyrenees size 7 was too big. Zappos let me keep the 7 and sent me a 6 for free, so I could compare the two. Zappos is great. The size 6 fits great. They are oh so warm and fuzzy and comfy. Some people have said in their reviews that the laces gets stuck. I haven't had any problems. In fact, I can wedge my feet in without even unlacing them. My only complaint is that my ankle movement is a bit restricted. It's like a mild version of trying to walk around in snowboard boots. My feet are slightly achy after wearing them all day, probably only because my foot requires more arch support. Otherwise, I love the look much better than the Classics, and the warmth and fuzziness is almost worth the money. I wish Keen made this boot a little taller. I'm 5'4" and they only come to just past ankle for me. Oh well. I still love them.
